Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://airdrie.thehandymannetwork.ca (the "Site") and the services offered by The Handyman Network – Airdrie ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or requesting a quote, estimate, or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

All quotes and estimates provided through the Site or by phone are free and carry no obligation unless you explicitly accept them in writing. Estimates are based on the information you provide and a visual assessment where applicable. Final pricing may change if:

• The scope of work differs from what was originally described
• Hidden damage, structural issues, or code deficiencies are discovered once work begins
• Materials, labour, or permit costs change between the estimate and the scheduled work

We will communicate any change in scope or cost before proceeding with the affected work.

Some work — including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, gas line, and gas appliance connections — is regulated and requires a licensed trade professional. Where a project requires a licensed trade, that portion of the work is completed or coordinated by the appropriate qualified, licensed tradesperson. We will make this clear during quoting so you know exactly how each part of your project will be handled.

Permit requirements vary by municipality and scope. Where permits are required, they are obtained in accordance with local building codes and bylaws.

Scheduling is subject to availability and is confirmed when you accept a quote. We will make every reasonable effort to honour stated response times, but availability may vary with demand, weather, and seasonal conditions.

If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may, at our discretion, be subject to a call-out fee for time and travel already committed.

Payment terms for each project are agreed at the time of quote acceptance. Unless otherwise stated in your written agreement, payment is due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, a deposit or milestone-based payment schedule may apply and will be clearly documented before work begins.

Accepted payment methods and any applicable taxes will be outlined in your quote or invoice.

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, the Site by any third party. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our forms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its systems, or data
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or overload the Site

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and design — is the property of The Handyman Network or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
